Dead

I really hope this blog won't go dead. haha

A list of things I would love to try.

1. Nude lips.
I never wear lipsticks, however nude lip colour sound so tempting.

2. Smoky rocker chick eyes.
I have smoky eyes but never rocker chick type. I shall try.

3. Flawless skin.
I wish I could and would know how to use foundation properly. I envied those who could

Give me 2 more weeks and I will try to resurrect this blog. haha

Nivea Cleansing Wipes

You know what's the cure to laziness on removing make up at the wee hours

This!

Bought it from Priceless $9.90 for pack of two. It's about the same price to Malaysia price after convertion. It's rather effective in removing my make up including my waterproof mascara (Maybelline). Of course it can't beat doing the 3 facial cleansing steps. It make me feel a little sticky at times.

The cloth is well lubricated though, not as dry but I do feel sometimes it's too much.

They even comes with clip to keep the packet close and not dried up.

Yes, it's definitely a little more pricey compare to normal make up remover. I only use it during those night when I couldn't be bother (ie. tipsy night.heh.)

MAC Mineralize Blush - Improvise

When MAC Colour Craft comes out with a range of mineralize blusher, my heart skips a beat. Well, everyone knows how much I love my blushers and MAC Dainty mineralize blusher have been my ultimate favourite.

I was torn with choice and end up getting Improvise, with some help form Ai-Lynn who drops by.

It's definitely a nice colour to have and own. I guess I haven't fall head over heels for it yet. My house lighting does not help at all. I definitely love it's peachy light coral colour thought albiet a little shimmery.

Glowy or Shiny? I can't help feeling a little glittery when I wear it out on the noon. Better for night though and no MSF needed. :)

Can it beat Dainty? Definitely not, can be improve (pun intended.)

L to R - Dainty, Improvise.

Improvise definitely looks more coral and less pinkish when compare to Dainty. One more to add into my blusher collection. Well some girls love lipgloss, my love lies on blusher... heh

Vaseline Lip Therapy with Aloe Vera

My winter was lasted with The Body Shop Vitamin E lip balm. Towards the end of finishing the product, the twister at the bottom refused to work. So for the past few weeks, I have been going out with bare lip. It gets dry so I drink more water. It only makes you pee but not moisturize my lip. Sigh, so much for studying abroad and wanting to save money.

So after hunting for apartment today, I went to the local pharmacy; wanting to get a lip care/ lip balm. I didn't want to get those twister-lipstick-kind. I wanted something to just use my finger and apply it all around my lip.

I narrowed down to two products. Both are Vaseline.

Vaseline Basic Petroleum Jelly

The product features are so awesome. You can apply it to your skin, cure small burns, dry lips and moisturizing. It is technically all in one petroleum jelly. It's not that expensive; only NZD 7.99 for 100g (with 10% off from Radius pharmacy). Usually mothers would recommend to buy this.

Then I found this...another Vaseline.

Vaseline Lip Therapy with Aloe Vera

Priced at NZD 5.50 for 20g; it's ridiculously more expensive compared to the basic one. How I ended up buying this lip care which I think it's ridiculously priced compared to the omgsomanythingsicandowith basic Vaseline Petroleum Jelly. The sales assistant told me that the lip care is really good and she has been using it for a long time. So I believed her and bought it. Such a sucker for persuasive sales assistant.

Generally, the lipbalm/ lip care priced between NZD 5 to NZD 10 and above. $5 will be like Vaseline range, $6 for Nivea lipcare and $10 & above for The Body Shop.

But it is really good for lip care. Rather than the usual dry lip balm that I've been previously using, this is bit more moisturizing. The texure of it is a bit oily for my preference but it can be pros; 1) you don't need to use a lot 2) even if u took too much out; just wipe it on your hand to work as moisturizer (it doesn't stay oily considering this place is cold and dry).

That's the before and after. The after looks more appealing; i should say. I am not a lipgloss kinda girl. So this lipcare works just fine with its shinniness for me. :)

If you have extra; just use it as lotion. ;)

MAC Fluidline - Blacktrack

I had finally got MAC fluidline! and it is one word. A.w.e.s.o.m.e. No idea why I have waited so long to get a gel eyeliner as an eyeliner lover. sigh. Also thanks to Ai-Lynn for getting it for me and bring to Aussieland!

Without flash

With flash

The colour I got is blacktrack, which is a rich matte black. No doubt about it.Tried comparing with my other black eyeliner and they fall way behind.

left to right - MAC Fluidline, Shu Uemura liquid eyeliner, The Body Shop eyeliner

With one swipe, MAC fluidline beat my Shu Uemura liquid one which I applied two swipes. As for TBS one.. sigh it doesn't even look black next to them.

I have tried wearing fluidline for a couple of days and wore it for 12 hours and it hardly fade. As for the lower eyeliner (especially waterline) it only lasted a couple of hours. Can't complain nothing last on my waterline more than a couple of hours even Shu Drawing Pencil.

Definitely will want to try more gel eyeliner :)

Potential HG

I'm trying to compile a list of my potential HG. How I would see it if it's potential HG is when I finish it and I would definitely get it again.

Eyes
Eyeliner (pencil) - Shu Uemura Drawing Pencil
Never smear and long lasting till whole day

Eyeliner (crayon) - MAC Technakohl
Easy to apply and good colour payoff

Eyeshadow - Dior Duo Eyeshadow
I love this because it's a foolproof when comes to smokey eyes and it's buttery soft

Eyelash Curler - Shu Uemura curler
Try it and you will know

Mascara - Maybelline Volume Express
Cheap and do what it's say :)

Face
Concealer - Bobbi Brown Creamy Concealer (I love this to death!)
Dark eye circle can go and hide!

Blusher - MAC Dainty mineralize blush
Foolproof blusher and natural

MSF - MAC Petticoat!
The colour of it really one of it's kind

Highlighter - Eyeko Cream
Easy to apply, cheap and don't make you look like glitterbomb

Lip
Lip Balm - Vaseline Lip Therapy
kissable lips! and less than RM10!

Skin Care
Moisturizer - Biotherm Aquasource
Not oily yet you will not have dry patch anymore!

Some stuff like foundation and all, I had tried but never really uses so I won't include it here. I'm odd I know! I prefer using concealer only. Lazy people like me haha.

I notice some of my favourite are from the more expensive brands, if it's good and do what it says and doesn't compromise my skin, I won't mind spending an extra few bucks. Just have to save a little more. Quality versus quantity, I guess for me.. I do however like to experiment with other brands especially in lower cost ones. Not such an heartache if it doesn't work compare to the expensive ones. :)

Would love to read other's HG list too!
