MAC Petticoat MSF

I finally got MAC Petticoat!!!! *scream and jump around*
that's how I feel when I got it from Fifi! Nothing feel that good when you get something from your make up wishlist.. haha


When I got it, I can't stop looking at it and caressing the case... I have been looking for it when it was re-launch again but unfortunately none in KL.

It's so beautifullllll, look at the veins and everything!

I tried to swatch it but my camera and room lightning can't capture it nice enough.. sigh.. I hope the veining doesn't go off easily. My heart will ache..

I can't resist and tried comparing with my MAC Redhead MSF

With flash, Redhead looks more shimmery compare to Petticoat. hehe thats good, means I won't look like a discoball at all! Petticoat also looks more pinkish compare to Redhead which is leaning towards more golden/coral side?

MAC Redhead MSF

I have been wanting this MSF since I saw the promo pics online from Temptalia. Most of the time, I just look at those promo pics, lemming it and then forget about it because its too expensive.

When I saw this launch in Malaysia, I can't resist trying and get it. At first I can't decide between the Redhead MSF or Blonde MSF. After some advice from the MA, Bf and self. I finally get the Redhead, after all that what I wanted at first. I know I am no where near a redhead. haha


I have always wanted an MSF but never justified myself to buy it. Since this have 4 different colour on it. Why not.

MSF or Mineralize Skinfinish is quite an interesting thing. Slightly frosty or shimmery. Ok my explanation sucks, here goes from MAC, 'A luxurious velvet-soft powder with high-frost metallic finish. Smoothes on: adds buffed-up highlights to cheeks and brows, or an overall ultra-deluxe polish to the face.' I personally won't use it for an all over face colour too shimmery I think.. More like a dash here and there or as a blusher or cheek highlight.

Here the swatch of colour from the lightest goldish colour to the slight peachy pink.


Meanwhile this is the swatch when I rub all the colour together. My camera sucks.


To my suprise, the MSF is pretty huge.


I would love to have more MSF but I doubt I could finish this one anytime soon.
