Daiso Fake Nail

I tell you, Daiso is an addictive place. I was alone and wandering in Daiso aisle.

This caught my eyes.

French manicure with little pearls and crystals.

Alright I have always been curious about fake nails... so pretty yet plastic-ky looking.

Since its only 5 bucks I grab one back home to try.

Verdict?
Pretty pretty nails but doing every little things become harder. Maybe I am not used to having long fingernail. The speed of my typing and putting make up decreased. Oh ya, its quite easy to apply too.

End up I only put for my left hand and it did not last for 3 days. I don't think I can stand having too long nails. However when I become a 'tai tai' next time I shall put this on. So pretty. sigh.

Ellefar Make Eyeshadows.

I did some testing but my photography skill failed me tremendously and I picked the best out of it.

It's my first time reviewing with urm...my eyes.

I am reviewing an eyeshadow I got from Daiso @ RM5 named Ellefar Make. The sidelines today is kate eyeshadow & mac eyeliner.

(L-R: Kate line spicy, mac eyeliner & ellefar make eyeshadow from Daiso)

(L-R: Invisible white, orangy red, grayis purple and maroon)
Tgese are the swatches from Daiso eyeshadow. It looks a bit like the L'Oreal eyeshadow; probably imitation or similiarity to it. They are very matte. No shinny glittering. and the lightest color which is white is probably the most camoufludge to my skin. You can't barely see it here. Then it has the orangy red, grayish purple and maroon.

(The colors are actually darker in real life.Sorry for lousy pictures. Sorry for the lousy skin as well, didn't put on foundation as I was bored on CNY eve and thought of playing it spontaneously.)
I used all four color of Ellefar make and only gold from Kate line spicy to high light the eye lid and the bottom light to create a fresher eye.Maroon was placed at the inner eye lid, followed by orangy red with some touch of gold and the upper bone was grayish purple. And the Mac gel eyeliner to highlight the eye and half of the bottom lid.

The Ellefar make has its pros and cons. The color came out nice, easy application, no small little powder falls on the cheek when application and it's very matte. I wore it to work the other day and it lasts almost the whole day without retouching. Plus, I have oily face. For an oily face, this eyeshadow is good for the price you pay. The colors are strong except for the almost invisible white which you can use for a little highlight. It's pretty good for a RM5 product.

*The eyeliner and Kate eyeshadow, I will review later. hehe

So this is the first review from me. Hope you ...enjoy it. :)

Daiso Haul 2

Its hard to resist going into Daiso everytime I'm in Curve now. Its so tempting to oogle at the rows of five bucks make up and discover some wonders :)

These the stuff that I bought home with me, a make up corrector pen/stick and a eyeshadow/liner pencil.

This make up corrector is also recommended by May and it is totally awesome! If you have smear any mascara or eyeliner out of place, simply draw it over with this stick annnnnddd voila, wipe with tissue and gone :) no smear nothing!

The tip feels like a marker but a little bit more waxy. Awesome my sizzle. Get it!

I took another 10 min to choose this, wondering between this eyeshadow stick or some random eyeliner or mascara. I guess the colour attracted me, the pretty deep forest green.

Look, nice green ain't it?

The colour on the pencil looks deep, however the swatch seems brighter and not so deep toned and also look much blue-er. This swatch does not show its exact colour. :( I hate my camera.
The texture is pretty smooth and easy application, however it is 0% smudge proof. I can rub it off with my finger... sigh. wasted.

All in all, interesting buy. I'm using it as a thick eyeliner line with little smudges and lined with another green eyeliner on top.

E.L.F and Daiso

My venture to cheaper make up :)

Honestly, I would say I am a little afraid at first but everything turn out so far so good :)

E.L.F. is known for its USD$1 products and Daiso just recently open in Malaysia sells everything for RM5. When I say everything, it's literally everthing! Make-up, stationary, this and that and this.

I got this E.L.F all over colour stick from Singapore SASA. If I am not wrong its around SGD$5. Defintely not as cheap when you convert it to MYR but I guess its alright since I sucks at buying stuff online.

The colour is called Persimmon, tried swatching but camera can't take no shit.

I like this stick. It give a light subtle shimmer to cheekbone. I love to put on top of my cheekbone after some blushers. Seems to be working not bad. Always wanted some highlighting stick that sort. This is a good and cheap alternative. A minor rant would be when I accidentally put a little too much, I feel a little waxy... but its RM10 bucks anyway, no complains!

Moving on to Daiso, after reading it so much online and friends raving bout it, of course I must go. And it was so nice meeting Beetrice (Beetrice Reviews) and Connie (Skindeco) and Tine (Beautyholic Anonymous) and the rest of the beauty bloggers :) after stalking their blog so much..

I have gotten the blusher and the dial concealer which May loves so much. RM1o bucks for both of it. Damn. I like the price. :)

I have tried the concealer, it stings my under eyes abit.. eek or perhaps it could be because the skin there is so freaking dry. Also it could be not the concealer fault since even when I apply moisturizer, it stings too. sigh. I can't bring myself to buy eyecream. Freaking RM40-RM50 for such a small tube. I think I must try the concealer a couple more time to mention my like and dislike. My Bobbi concealer is hitting the pan at one of the corner. Heartache!

As for the blusher, Connie from Skindeco recommended it to me. Thank you!

It does look a little similar to MAC Dainty, maybe a little more matte.

I try comparing it with my others blusher. The blusher is named Beige, however I felt it look nowhere near beige. Its like a sweet light pink/coral (oh man I sucks at describing the colours.) I like the colour. yay! hehe

I tried swatching of MAC Dainty (bottom) and Daiso Beige Blush(top). I have tried it and it gives a nice flush. Slight more pigmented than MAC Dainty but less frosty. Still have a very light shimmer on it. Whee another blusher for me. :)
